Halong bay or Ninhbinh - Which one is better to visit while in Vietnam?
The question has been given to us so many times. Our answer is "Same - same but Different". The same is all karst limestone landscapes in Halong bay and Ninhbinh. The difference is the karst limestone islands in Halong bay coming up from the sea water, but those in Trangan - Tamcoc - Van Long - Thung Nang - Thung Nham in Ninhbinh coming up from the river water. The limestone islands and mountains of the two areas are all so amazing with beautiful caves and naturally shaped by the nature through many million years. It is hard to say which one is more beautiful.
