Day 2: Bangkok city temples

1st day Activities on Your 12day Package Tour Thailand

After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn. Afternoon we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha. Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Night in Bangkok.

Day 3: Ayutthaya Day Tour

1st day Activities on Your 12day Package Tour Thailand

Depart for the tour to visit Bang Pa In Summer Palace comprises a collection of buildings of various ages and various architectural styles surrounded by a lake. Originally built by King Prasattong in Ayutthaya era, Bang Pa-In was the places for the kings in the Ayutthaya period to visit and enjoy, but it was let unoccupied when Bangkok became the capital. Its importance was reestablished when King Rama IV and King Rama V restored the palace, and some new buildings were built.

Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol is situated to the southeast and opposite to Ayutthaya city. A large Chedi of this Wat can be seen from a far distance. This monastery was built by King U-Thong in 1357 A.D. for the use of the monks who had returned from Ceylon after studying under Phra Vanarat Maha Thera.

Visit Wat Pa Si Sanphet. This is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and the original from which the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok has been copied. Three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.

Visit Wat Maha That The Heart and Soul of City from Artifacts and the style of the Pagoda, we believe that Wat Maha That was built before the Ayutthaya Period or around the 14th Century. One of the images which were excavated by the Fine Art Department was a Buddha Image in the Sitting Attitude (sitting with drop down legs). This image belonged to the Lopburi Period. The Pagodas are from the Bayon Style or Bayon Period (compared to Khmer culture) which are built with late rite. Wat Chaiwatthanaram is a Buddhist temple in the city of Ayutthaya Historical Park, Thailand, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, outside Ayutthaya island. It is one of Ayutthaya's best known temples, then transfer back to Bangkok . Night in Bangkok.

Day 4: Floating market - Kanchanaburi - River Kwai

1st day Activities on Your 12day Package Tour Thailand

Early in the morning, meet guide and driver then we drive southwest of Bangkok, visit to Darnern Saduak, a rural floating market. Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnern Saduak. Then we continue the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Then visit the Thai-Burma Railway Centre Museum and after that proceed to the bridge over the river kwai. Take a train ride on the historical Death Railway which was once built by allied Prisoners of War and runs partly parallel to the River Kwai and through dense jungle. Get off the train and return to hotel. Night in Bangkok.

Day 5: Bangkok – Chiang Mai

Meet guide and transfer to Airport for your flight to Chiang Mail Upon arrival in Chaing Mai , meet guide and transfer to hotel Late afternoon, will enjoy the super northern Thai dinner with charming Fon-lep (Finger dance), Fon-tein (Candle dance, Ramwong (Candle dance) . After Khantoke dinner enjoy yourself again by watching shows which are performed by the hill tribes Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu and Karen. Night in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chaing Mai – City temples – Doi suthep

Experience the gentle way of Chiang Mai local’s life; Leave hotel to Chai Mongkol Temple where you start cruising through rural Mae Ping River by long-tail boat for 45 minutes. Softly moving along the river, you will see wooden houses and modern residences with colorful scenery and lifestyle of the local people. Stop at the Local farmer’s house and see a variety of herbs to use for both in medicine and cooking. Enjoy a snack of seasonal fresh fruit and savoir the refreshing taste of lemon grass and other herb juices.

Continue to Warorote Market, the biggest local Market in Chiang Mai which sells everything from clothes and textiles to fruits, herbs, flowers, vegetables, insects and even fireworks. In order to feel more about the local lifestyle, take a Sam-Lor (Trishaw) ride along Thapae Road down though the Old City Walls. Visit Wat Phra Singh, which was built in the year 1345. This temple contains marvelous examples of Lanna art including a Lanna style viharn and the finest scripture repository of its type in the north.

Visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. The temple compound offers an ethylating view of Chiang Mai city and surrounding countryside. A visit to Meo village will be made. Night in Chiang Mai.

Tour Duration: 8.30 AM - 4.00 PM Enjoy cruising by speedboat to the Phi Phi Island Group. Phi Phi Island is one of the best places in the world because of its beautiful marine life resources. Tour itinerary: Pick you up from your hotel 08.00 - 08.30. Get on a speedboat for Phi Phi Leh with sightseeing at Viking Cave and Phi Phi Leh lagoon, one of the most beautiful lagoons. Stop at Loh Sa Ma Bay for swimming & snorkeling. Head to Maya Bay. It is very beautiful, which is why the film named The Beach was filmed there in 2000. After Maya Bay, we will go to Monkey Bay where you will be greeted by many small monkeys. Have a delicious buffet lunch and relax at the restaurant on Phi Phi Island.
