The owner’s expression
During years living abroad, my nostalgia urged me to look for a way to cook some local foods of my homeland. “Cơm gà Hội An” (Hoian style chicken rice) and “Phở gà lá chanh” (Vietnamese chicken noodles soup) were two of the best that i actually did so well. With all of the main ingredients, the condiments and even the herbs which can be found easily at any super market or the Asia market in town, i believe that you will be able to cook it yourself as deliciously as i used to do it at that time. If you find yourself interested in Vietnamese authentic cuisine, i am so much happy to recommend you this course. In my restaurant, you will be well-prepared to have the most delicate “cơm gà” or “phở gà”. The genuine recipes, the tips or even the know-how will definitely help you have a best performance. Except the reason of its limited capacity, booking in advance at least twenty-four hours is still necessary. Because we need time to prepare somethings like the ingredients as well as the materials for the Chef’s best presentation. This program has no market tour as the other does. The participants just come through the door of our kitchen and start to work with the Chef or with me. I strongly suggest you should bring the camera with you as you might need to take some photos or filming. The class, with only one dish to cook (either the rice or the soup), will be organized privately. It would be more time-consuming, more expensive and more concentrative than the other, but i mean, it will absolutely be a memorable experience. You will definitely have a positive chance to cook one of the best signature dishes of Vietnam.

What would happen
The introduction will be all about the ingredients. The Chef will tell how you can pick the right things and which one can be found at the Asia market. Then, we shall process them to be clean, fine cut, etc. It would take you at least three and a half hours to make it done. Normally, if you want to make the best, you need to prepare somethings from the day before, like the marination, the stewing, etc. But in the class, we shall find the way to boost it proceeding faster from entirely raw materials. We shall make everything in details thus asking you to take note sometimes. If you have more queries in the class, means that would be easier for you to cook it successfully at home later. At the end, we would have somethings that we do aspire to for so long. We shall take the picture, and then satisfy our appetite. A dessert by your choice will be offered in order to complete your journey with Secret Garden.
