8:00 am leaving Hanoi for 3.5 hour journey to Quang Ninh province, you will go through many lush rice fields where you can see the local farmers working. Feel free to tell our driver to stop for beautiful photos. 12:00 arriving at Hon Gai town, you will be welcomed by the cruise manager for check-in.
Join 5 minute transfer from the pier to Huong Hai Sealife cruise. Get your Luxury Suite cabin. Refresh for a while and come down to the lobby where you will get the introduction for today cruise tour in the most wonderful bay in the world.
The sailing starts at 13:00 from Bai Tu Long Bay through near 3000 strange islands of 3 bays connected to eachother. It is also the time you have lunch in the dinning room, but the large open clear glass helps you to see Ha Long as in the open sky. Therefore, do not forget your camera in the room.
Arriving at Vungvieng fishing village, you will get your bamboo boat rowed by the local girl to explore amazing waterlife in this fishing village. Stop to see the floating school for the kids here. So close to this village is a pearl-raising farm. If interested how the pearls are cultivated here, please just tell your rower to come and see. Then, back to Huong Hai Halong bay cruise for further sailing.
17:15 the cruise stops for the preparation for a wonderful Christma party. Get dressed and go down the lobby at a quarter to 7 Pm to join the party. Getting up a little late today just because the beautiful party last night, get some cakes and coffee. Then, explore the Sung Sot Cave which is one of must-do on Halong bay tour package. However, remember to take walking shoes to get easier with climbing over 150 steps to get inside this wonderful cave. Spend around 30 minute to see and walk from the 1st part of the cave to the 3rd part. Remember that it is one way visit and you can not go back because the cruise is waiting for you on the other side.
Going back to your cruise and continue your sailing around the Heaven from Halong bay to Bai Tu Long bay. 10:00am enjoy your brunch with all your new friends while your cruise is still doing its beautiful journey. 9:00am you are leaving the capital of Hanoi for the south journey to the Fairy Palace on Earth. The name "Fairy Palace" has been given to this package by travelers on Vietnam holiday - That is Trang An complex. This huge complex was on the list of UNESCO Natural and Cultural Heritage Sites in 2014. It got a seat in this list much later in comparision with other famous destinations like Hoi An, Hue, Ha Long Bay not because it is not as beautiful as others. It is because it was later discovered.
Arriving at Trang An pier, you get a seat on a boat conducted by a professional rower on the scenic and peaceful journey along Trang An river which runs around and through so many limestone mountains. To explore the whole area, you need a week. However, 3 hours is enough for you to see 9 water tunnel caves connecting this limestone mountain with other small and charming lagoons. Your boat is moving around in peace. You see there is nowhere to go, but suddenly the rower turn left, right or going inside the mountain... you will get more and more surprised on the wat you go. It would be a really big miss if you forget to bring your camera.
For lunch, you have 2 choices: Restaurant for tourists or local taste. So far as our experience from our clients, local taste cooked for Vietnamse travelers are far more excellent. Here, mountain goat meat is highly recommended to try. Taste is wonderful.
After lunch, explore a charming pagoda located inside a limestone cave on the slope of the mountain. Do not worry as there are steps and easy to walk. The pagoda was set up here since 11th century by the most famous monks in Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Khong who later got the family name of the King for what the monk did for the nation. It is a hug complex on the limestone mountain.

Thank you again for the great job you done for us. I think the whole programme you and me had make was perfect. The restaurants we chose... Everybody was so happy with you and me for what we have done for our group. Its was a great group....friendsship, laughs and so on...somebody said it was the best journey ever.
All our tour guides were excellent and Mr. Thai Ta was our top-notch designated tour guide. He was approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable and answered all our questions in relation to the sites. We had a superb time and especially enjoyed Hanoi food tour. We enjoyed Halong bay and Hoian so much and they were the best of our Vietnam holiday.
We booked this Vietnam holiday package for our family and kids with Deluxe Vietnam Tours when we were working in Singapore. All was perfect except our visa to Vietnam. We did ask Tony about our visa to Vietnam and he told us that he could arrange the invitation letter for us to get the visa on arrival in Hanoi airport or we could did it online by ourselves. However, we forgot about that and he did not remind us. It was our mistake, but he should have remined us. Therefore, we missed the 1st night in Hanoi. Tony made the fast visa letter in couple hours, but it costed us more money. He also rearranged our Vietnam trip and we did not miss any activities in Hanoi.
