Sapa Vietnam Tour Itinerary 5 Days/4nights

Day 1: Take Overnight train from Hanoi
Day 2: Laocai station - Sapa - Catcat village - Sapa
Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai, Ta Van village - Sapa

Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa by Train

8:30 PM the tour guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours pick you up from your hotel and drive to Tran Quy Cap train station. He will check-in the cabin for you. Take a night train to Lao Cai station. Overnight on the train.

Day 2: Laocai station - Sapa - Catcat Village

Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, you will be picked up by our local tour guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours CO.,Ltd and transfer you to little charming Sapa town. Enjoy your breakfast at a restaurant in Sapa town.

Then, begin your Sapa tour Vietnam by visiting the local market in town, where minority people come to sell or buy daily things. Back to your hotel for check in and relax. Do not forget to bring your camera for nice photos at the market.

Enjoy the lunch at a restaurant and 14:00 our local tour guide and driver will transfer you from Sapa town to Cat Cat village. On arrival, take a walk down the valley to CatCat village of Black H's Mong minority peole. Our local tour guide will take you to visit some local cottages - local homes of Black H'mong people to discover daily life and culture of the Northern mountainous ethnic groups. Chat with them through your tour guide.

Take photos of beautiful waterfall and valley with stunning terraced paddy fields. No hurry, choose the best position for wonderful photos. Mix yourself with stunning nature and exotic culture. If coming at the right time, enjoy the traditional music show by local ethnic people inside the former hydro power plant which was built by the French. Here, you also have the chance to join the dancing with local people.

Continue your walk to the other side of Cat Cat valley where your driver is waiting for you. Enjoy the journey uphill to Sapa centre. Free to walk around the little but charming Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: Discover Amazing Terraced Rice Fields in Muong Hoa Valley

After nice breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by your personal tour guide and driver at the lobby. Enjoy the journey down hill to Muong Hoa river and valley. 12km down hill will give you many chances to take some of the best photos in your lifetime of travel.

Stunning terraced rice fields dotted with some cottages and yellow schools on the other side of the mountain will fulfill your eyes. Again, no hurry because it is a private Sapa Vietnam tour. There are some good positions for photos suggested by your local tour guide, but feel free to choose your own for a life time photos.

The car stops at the path for a wonderful walk to LaoChai village of Black H's Mong group. When your car stops, there are some Black H'Mong, Red Dzao girls and old ladies waiting for you. It is so nice and funny to talk with them in simple sentences. Kindly noted: There are easy walking and hard trekking route. Please tell your local tour guide which is your prefer today.

From the 1st minute of walk, it is also the 1st minute of seeing stunning scenery. After 15 minutes of walk, your tour guide will take you to see one of the local home from H'Mong group. You will be surprised to explore their home. It is so simple living conditions, but happy people are living here. Feel free to ask them some questions, they are happy to talk to you. They sell some local made products. If you like, you buy. No worry if you do not buy anything, they will get paid for your visit from your tour guide - Our target is to do something to inprove local life here.

Continue walking and passing Muong Hoa river to Tavan village of Dzay and red Dzao minority groups. The villages are located in Muong Hoa valley where you can see the stunning scenery of large rice paddy terrace fields on the slopes of high mountains, offering many amazing photos.

Arriving at Ta Van village, take a buffola path to the comunity house where you enjoy your lunch and the traditional music show by the local people. The delicious food, interesting music and dancing with stunning view from the riverside will recover your souls. Then, drive back to Sapa town. The rest of your afternoon is free to explore Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Experience Cocly Market - Laocai - On Train

There are 4 beautiful markets in the surrounding areas of Sapa. Depending on your time in Sapa, we will choose which market you will visit. Depart to Cocly market, one of highlights for all Sapa travel packages. See different ethnic minority people in colorful costume selling, buying and bargaining from daily uses to animals like alive chicken, ducks, cats, horses, buffaloes.....

The top highlight for the market is at the corner for party after a long week working or some boys and girls in groups flirting each other. Coc Ly is not only a market for selling, buying local things but also a meeting area for young couples.

Then, take a boat cruise along Chay river with the beautiful scenery of both sides. 15:00 Drive back to Laocai station. On the way, stop to visit tea planation. Meet and talk with local famrers to learn how tea is being grown here. Your tour guide will stop at a local restaurant for you to have dinner on your own account. Take overnight train back to Hanoi.
