Please kindly Note : There are now 2ways to go to Sapa - By car or by train If you have tight budget and want to save some money, you can travel Sapa by night train. There are 4 berths in a cabin where you can sleep, but the train runs up and down, to the left and to the right. Therefore, it will be hard for you to fall in sleep. There is one toilet on one compartment for 28 people to share. It takes 8 - 9 hours and arrive at Laocai station from 4:30 to 5:30am depending on different trains.
The 2nd option: you can stay overnight in Hanoi and the next day take shuttle bus or private car, van, bus to Sapa. This is the best way to travel to Sapa on the high way. Please click the link to see more information on travel Sapa by car or by trains.
Catch overnight train to Lao Cai.
Trek up and down to Cat Cat village, the stunning valley dotted with some cottages and rice fields. Then, trek to a beautiful waterfall.
