The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the royal abode of the King of Cambodia. The National Museum, one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems, It house more than 14,000 items; the World’s largest collection of Khmer Art, including sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and ethnographic objects dating from prehistoric times to periods before, during and after the Khmer Empire. Then toward to Oulalom Pagoda, It was built in 1422 by King PonyeaYat, the last king of the Khmer empire. It is one of the five original monasteries in Phnom Penh that King PonheaYat had built, the pagoda founded in the 1440's in Phnom Penh when the City was made the Kingdom's capital.

Continue your visit to TuolSleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. We drive south of Phnom Penh to the ancient Funan site of Angkor Borei& Phnom Da which located in Prek Ta Phor village, KorkThalork commune, Angkor Borei district, about 24 kilometers east of Takeo provincial town by water canal or about 102 kilometers south of Phnom Penh by the road. This part of the country is flooded six months of the year, during the rainy.

You will cruising along the Phnom Penh riverfront enjoy the view from the upper deck or down on the main deck for a more cozy experience near the bar. Passing the Royal Palace, see the junction of the Tonle Sap, Mekong, and Bassac rivers. Up the Mekong River you will see floating villages and fishing families living on their boats. The trip to Silk Island takes about 1 hour.

Docking at Silk Island you are a short ride steps away from the silk farms. Along the way you can view plantations and see village life. A modern pagoda nearby is also an active monastery. This is not a tourist attraction, be respectful. At the silk farms you can watch the intricate process of silk being made from larvae to finished goods. Tour guides will be provided. The boat will be open for food, drinks, relaxing or for using the facilities while in port. On the 1 hour ride back to Phnom Penh cool off with a cocktail. The Roluos group lies 15km (10 miles) southwest of Siem Reap and includes three temples - Bakong, PrahKo and Lolei - dating from the late 9th century and corresponding to the ancient capital of Hariharalaya, from which the name of Lolei is derived. Remains include 3 well-preserved early temples that venerated the Hindu gods. The bas-reliefs are some of the earliest surviving examples of Khmer art. Modern-day villages surround the temples. Continue your visit to NeakPean, a fountain (built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, Eastern Mebon, guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation, and Pre Rup, the mountain-temple until sunset. Day 18: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy your wonderful day in the amazing valley of Muong Hoa river. The journey from 1600m to 1000m will offer breathtaking scenery from the top mountain to the bottom of the valley.

Start your trekking trip from Y Linh Ho village of the H'Mong people or start your trekking from Lao Chai. It depends on easy trekking or hard trekking. Stop 3 times for great photos of terraced field and little cottages on the slop of the mountain. Visit some local hosts for local life discovery.

Visit a local school for the ethnic children in Lao Chai village. Take an easy walk into Ta Van Dzay where the Dzay ethnic group is living. Visit a local home of the Dzay people and have some tea and talks with the host for Dzay culture discovery. Then, take an uphill buffalo trekking route on the slop of the mountain through the bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao people for 1 hour or 1.5 hour depending on your speed, but no need to hurry - the scenery here is so beautiful.

• Breakfast at hotel We drive to visit Kampong Phluk Floating Village, located at 16 km at north-south of Siem Reap. the villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. During the dry season when the lake is low (March – July), the buildings in the villages seem to soar atop their 6-meter stilts exposed by the lack of water. At this time of year many of the villagers move out onto the lake and build temporary houses. In the wet season when water level rises (Aug – February), the villagers move back to their permanent houses on the floodplain, the stilts now hidden under the water.
