8:00am leave Hanoi city to the countryside - Quat Dong village in Thuong Tin district, Hanoi city. 20km drive out of the city offers North rural life with many farmer working on their fields. On arrival, you tour the village and visit some families to get close to the countryside life. Feel free to talk with local people.

Get out of the village to the fields. Work with local farmers. There are many farm works, but today you will prepare the farm land and transplant rice with local farmers. Some of you will take the water from the chanel into the field. Some of you will plough the farm land by buffalo with the farmer. It takes 3.5 hours to get the farm land ready.

Get back to the village to have lunch in the farmer house. Take a rest after lunch or take some tea and talk about the farming works with the house owner. 14:15 go back to the field with baby rice and transplant the rice into the field.
