We had a look online, and prefer North Vietnam Tours Hanoi to Halong bay & Sapa option. It seems there is a very interesting Sunday market in Sapa (or nearby) Maybe we could go to Sapa first, then end with the 2 day junk tour. We would like an airconditioned Junk with kayaks available.

+ 3/10: city tour. overnight train to Lao Cai.
+ 4/10: Breakfast at Lao Cai. 2 hour drive to Bac Ha market on sunday, visit Bac Ha market. After lunch, if you feel strong enough to spend 2hour walking to see Flower H' Mong village. Then drive back to Sapa. arrive at Sapa 4pm. overnight in Sapa
+ 5/10: Visit Lao Chai( black H' Mong village) then Ta Van village( dzay village). Overnight in Sapa.
+ 6/10: visit Cat Cat village and Ham Rong mountain. afternoon drive back to Lao Cai station for overnight train to Hanoi
. + 7/10: after breakfast, we drive 3 hours to Halong Bay. 12: 00 Cruise Halong with kayaking. Overnight on boat.
+ 8/10: continue cruising Halong Bay, visiting cave. 11: 30 Drive back to Hanoi. Arrive at 3pm. overnight in Hanoi.

This looks like a good program. We would like a 2 berth soft sleeper on the Victoria Express and therefore would stay at the Victoria Sapa Hotel. I know you need to make these arrangements soon. We may decide we only want to spend one night on the Halong Junk, but will let you know soon.

As for hotel service level in Hanoi, 4 star will be fine. Hope this is helpful. We look forward to getting to know Vietnam with you.

I am so sorry to be writing so late. We too have been traveling, and just returned to Beijing.

Please organize the North Vietnam tour Hanoi to Halong and Sapa as you described, we would be most grateful. Please note that we will need a hotel in Hanoi on the night of Oct. 2 eventhough we arrive at 22:00.

I checked the option with other trains. the quality is so good as well. and stay in Chau hotel 4 star, better location with beautiful valley scenery. Hanoi 4 star hotel, boat trips with kayaking as you want. tour cost as programme is usd for 2person.

However, The reservation is only valid until 8:30 am on 22 / 9. Therefore, If you want to book this Vietnam travel package, you have to send me some deposit(500USD) for me to make sure that you will go on the Vietnam trip with us, the rest you can pay when you arrive so you do not have to pay the bank fee( about 3%).
